Otgonbat Barkhuu founded the Global Leadership University (GLU) in 2005. The GLU is a Mongolian non-profit, non-governmental organization that aims to provide individuals with lifelong leadership development opportunities. We believe that global leaders must be internationally educated and that their educational experience must not be limited to academics, but also must include leadership development and community service opportunities.
The foundation has made a significant contribution to international studies for Mongolian students. Since it was founded, GLF has helped send more than 400 Mongolian students to the U.S. and other countries for high school, undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Among those students are the sixty who have attended DSU as a direct result of Barkhuu’s efforts.
